Shelley Motz is an independent writer and editor with more than 12 years experience in journalism, marketing and public relations.

In this time, she has written a wide range of materials, from media kits and press releases to keyword-rich website content, marketing materials and feature articles.

She also coordinated the marketing and sponsorship initiatives of events like the ICA  FolkFest, Open Air and the transmission international music conference.

Her clients and experience encompass all levels of government as well as lifestyle, entertainment and social justice issues in Canada, the USA and abroad.

She is the president of the Victoria School of Writing and a member of the Professional Writers Association of Canada.
